This study aims to analyze the role of madrasah committees in supporting education financing based on community participation as a strategic response to the limited budget provided by the government. The madrasah committee acts as an institution that bridges the relationship between the school, parents, and the wider community to ensure effective, accountable, and sustainable education funding. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that the madrasah committee plays a vital role in three key areas: fundraising, financial oversight, and strengthening partnerships between the madrasah and the community. Fundraising efforts include voluntary contributions, collaborations with community leaders, support from external institutions, and parental involvement in various school programs. Financial oversight is conducted through regular meetings, evaluation of financial reports, and active participation in budget planning. Furthermore, the committee expands financial support by establishing partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and alumni networks. However, the study also identifies several challenges, such as limited managerial capacity among committee members, low participation from certain segments of the community, and inadequate documentation practices. Therefore, enhancing committee capacity, improving transparency, and fostering stronger collaboration are essential to ensure that community-based education financing can operate effectively and sustainably.
