Abstract

The success of education in an educational institution that protects the Foundation is determined by various factors, one of which is the Chairman of the Foundation. There are several points of view in viewing a person's leadership based on the intelligence possessed. Emotional intelligence is one point of view that is able to analyze the leadership of a chairman of the foundation. Dharma Putra Nusantara Foundation is one of the developing foundations in Sukarga Regency. The Foundation's leadership leadership based on emotional intelligence (EQ) is considered very good. This has a positive impact on the sustainability of the organizational foundation. Therefore, the researchers tried to analyze the leadership of the chairman of the Hampar Baiduri Vocational School which focuses on the point of view of emotional intelligence. This research is a qualitative research that describes the leadership of the Dharma Putra Nusantara Sukarga chairman and analyzes the emotional intelligence point of view. This research was conducted using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Testing the validity of the data using the triangulation technique, which in this study is more emphasized on the source of the triangulation technique. The sources are all citizens from a good foundation of the council, the environment, the people around them including teachers at SD, SMP, and vocational SMK Hampar Baiduri. The source will contain data on the leadership of the chairman of the Dharma Putra Nusantara Foundation based on emotional intelligence. The results showed that the chairman of the Dharma Putra Nusantara foundation had good leadership in terms of emotional intelligence. The results of the analysis show that the chairman of the foundation carries out primal leadership leadership very well. It is proven by triangulation of data and sources. The chairman of the Intercession Institute for the Educational Institution of SMK Hampar Baiduri has a high commitment to a vision of the future, especially during times of stress or in the midst of increasing responsibilities. The chairman of the foundation takes an emotional approach to all citizens within the foundation. Foundation Chairs can read their own emotions and recognize their impact using instinct to guide decisions, know their strengths and limitations, can control their emotions and demonstrate honesty and integrity, trustworthiness. The Chairman of the Foundation has good self-awareness and self-management, good social awareness and good relationship management.
