Abstract

This study aims to analyze how educational facilities and infrastructure management is implemented to support technology-based learning in schools. The rapid development of information technology has pushed educational institutions to transform their learning environments by integrating digital tools such as computers, LCD projectors, internet connectivity, and interactive learning media. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the processes of procurement, utilization, maintenance, and evaluation of technological facilities. The findings reveal that the success of technology-based learning highly depends on the effectiveness of facilities management rather than the completeness of the equipment itself. Many schools possess adequate technological devices, yet their utilization remains suboptimal due to limited teacher training, inadequate internet quality, and the absence of structured maintenance systems. Conversely, schools with well-managed facilities are able to conduct digital learning effectively even with limited resources. Effective management involves needs-based planning, accurate inventory systems, teacher competency development, and routine maintenance. This study concludes that facilities and infrastructure management is a strategic factor that determines the success of technology-based learning and forms the foundation for improving the quality of education in the digital era.
