This study examines the strengthening of religious moderation through Islamic Education (PAI) learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Rambah Hilir, Pasir Utama Village, Rambah Hilir District, Rokan Hulu Regency. Religious moderation is essential in education to prevent extremism, intolerance, and misinterpretation of Islamic teachings. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The findings reveal that PAI teachers actively integrate moderation values into learning materials, teaching methods, and religious activities at school. Students demonstrate positive changes in tolerance, dialogue skills, and respect for diversity. Islamic Education learning proves to be effective in developing a moderate understanding of Islam when supported by teacher role-modeling and a conducive school environment.
