Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of center-based learning on the social-emotional development of early childhood students from an Islamic perspective at TK Mutiara Insani Purwakarta, West Java. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that center-based learning has a significant impact on children’s social-emotional development through structured play activities in various learning centers such as role play, blocks, art, preparation, and natural materials. The integration of Islamic values implemented by teachers in each center activity strengthens children’s character formation through moral habituation, Islamic emotional regulation, and positive social interaction. Overall, center-based learning combined with Islamic principles is proven effective in holistically developing children’s social-emotional aspects.
