This study aims to analyze the implementation of strategic planning to improve teacher quality at SMP IT Wahdah Islamiyah, Antang Subdistrict, Manggala District, Makassar City. The research focuses on the stages of strategic planning, implementation strategies, and their impact on improving teacher competence. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that strategic planning at the school involves need analysis, goal setting, formulation of teacher development programs, and continuous evaluation. Implementation strategies include regular training, academic supervision, strengthening work culture, and the use of instructional technology. Positive impacts are evident in the improvement of teachers’ pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies. The study concludes that well-structured and measurable strategic planning significantly contributes to enhancing teacher quality. These findings may serve as a reference for other educational institutions seeking to improve teacher management and performance.
