IMPLEMENTASI PERENCANAAN STRATEGIS MTsN KOTA SORONG, KEL.REMU SELATAN, KEC. SORONG MANOI, KOTA SORONG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2025/2026
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of strategic planning at MTsN Kota Sorong, Remu Selatan Village, Sorong Manoi District, Sorong City, in the 2025/2026 academic year, and to understand how the process is carried out in the local social and cultural context. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, because it seeks to explore in depth the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating madrasa strategies in a complex environment. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies, with key informants consisting of the madrasah principal, deputy head of curriculum, senior teachers, and madrasah committee selected through purposive sampling. The results of the study indicate four main themes in the implementation of madrasah strategic planning, namely: (1) collaborative leadership that encourages the participation of all school members; (2) integration of Islamic values with local wisdom, which adapts the madrasah's vision to the context of Sorong's multicultural society; (3) optimization of limited resources through innovation and efficiency; and (4) ongoing participatory evaluation that strengthens program accountability. These findings demonstrate that successful strategic planning relies not only on formal documents but also on adaptive and collaborative leadership. Theoretically, this research strengthens the concept of strategic management of education based on values and local context. Practically, the results provide a reference for other madrasahs in designing participatory and sustainable quality improvement strategies. Further research is recommended to expand the study to the context of private madrasahs and other regions to enrich the implementation model of Islamic education strategies in Indonesia.
