Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of learning media and learning motivation with student learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at SMAN 01 Abung Pekurun, North Lampung. The main issues raised are the low optimization of learning media and variations in learning motivation that impact learning achievement. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 120 students selected through proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire for the variables of learning media use and learning motivation, and documentation of grades for the learning achievement variable. The research instrument has been tested for validity and reliability using Product Moment correlation and Cronbach's Alpha. Data analysis was conducted through descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26. The results showed that the use of learning media was positively and significantly related to learning motivation (r = 0.612; p < 0.05), learning motivation was significantly related to learning achievement (r = 0.574; p < 0.05), and the use of learning media had a significant effect on learning achievement (r = 0.491; p < 0.05). Regression analysis showed that both predictor variables contributed 42.6% to learning achievement. The study concluded that improving the quality of learning media and strengthening learning motivation play an important role in improving Islamic Religious Education learning achievement. These findings provide practical implications for teachers and schools to optimize the use of digital media and provide learning support that encourages student motivation.
