MANAJEMEN STRATEGI DALAM MENINGKATKAN EKSISTENSI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM (Studi Kasus di SD Qur'an dan Tekhnopreneur Al mawa Cileungsi, Kabupatenn Bogor)
Abstract
This study aims to understand the management strategies implemented by Al Mawa Cileungsi Qur'an and Technopreneur Elementary School in enhancing the existence of Islamic educational institutions amidst social change and competition between educational institutions. The phenomenon studied focuses on how these institutions formulate, implement, and interpret strategies based on Qur'anic values and technopreneurship as institutional identity. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, which allows for in-depth exploration of the processes and experiences of stakeholders. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the principal, teachers, staff, and parents; participant observation of learning activities and technopreneurship programs; and analysis of documentation such as curriculum, school reports, and program archives. Data analysis was conducted through the interactive model of Miles, Huberman & Saldaña, including data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate five main themes: (1) visionary leadership as the main driver of strategy; (2) innovation in Qur'an-based programs and technopreneurship as competitive advantages; (3) strengthening a religious and productive school culture; (4) empowering teachers as agents of change; and (5) community partnerships as a means of expanding the institution's existence. These findings enrich the understanding of management strategy as an adaptive and contextual social process in Islamic educational institutions. The study concludes that the combination of religious values, technological innovation, and community collaboration is a strategic foundation that can increase the sustainability and attractiveness of Islamic educational institutions. Implications of the study include the development of a values-based strategic management model, increasing teacher capacity, and strengthening school social networks. Further research is recommended to explore the implementation of technopreneurship at various levels of education and the role of school culture in strengthening institutional strategies.
