This study aims to analyze the management of Scout education in strengthening student character at PPS Abu Bakar Ash Shiddiq Wahdah Islamiyah Bulukumba, South Sulawesi. The research focuses on how planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating Scout activities are managed by the institution to shape students’ character. Within the context of integrated Islamic education, Scouting is positioned as a strategic program designed to foster discipline, responsibility, leadership, and collaboration. Character reinforcement through Scouting is considered highly relevant to the institution’s goals of integrating formal education, religious instruction, and values-based character development. The findings show that the planning stage of Scout education is carried out systematically through the development of extracurricular curricula, scheduling routine training sessions, and preparing competent and certified instructors. The organizational process includes clear task distribution among Scout leaders, instructors, and student coordinators to ensure effective coordination. Scout activities—such as routine drills, explorations, social service actions, and camping—are intentionally designed to strengthen students’ discipline, independence, teamwork, and social awareness. Each activity is integrated with Islamic values such as proper conduct, brotherhood, and role modeling, creating a more holistic character development experience. Program evaluation is conducted through assessments of student participation, discipline, and behavioral progress using observations, anecdotal notes, and leader reports. The study concludes that the management of Scout education at PPS Abu Bakar Ash Shiddiq significantly contributes to character improvement. Students show notable growth in responsibility, respect, leadership, and collaboration skills. Supporting factors include institutional commitment, the competence of Scout leaders, the disciplined pesantren culture, and parental involvement. Meanwhile, challenges include limited facilities, weather constraints, and students’ tight schedules. Overall, the research confirms that structured and value-based Scout education management effectively shapes students’ character within the pesantren environment.
