This study aims to describe the implementation of character education management in developing students’ interest, attitudes, and positive behavior at SDIT Al-Hilmi Dompu. The background of this research is rooted in the importance of character education as a foundation for shaping students who are not only academically capable but also possess strong moral, spiritual, and social values. As an Islamic-based school, SDIT Al-Hilmi Dompu integrates various character-building programs into the learning process, school culture, and extracurricular activities. Therefore, this study explores how school managerial strategies, policies, and teachers’ practices contribute to fostering learning motivation, shaping positive attitudes, and cultivating behaviors aligned with Islamic values. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through classroom and school culture observations, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as documentation of various habituation programs. The data analysis included reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that character education management at SDIT Al-Hilmi Dompu is implemented through systematic program planning, consistent habituation practices, as well as continuous supervision and evaluation. Every school component plays an active role in creating a conducive learning environment that supports the cultivation of honesty, discipline, responsibility, noble character, and social awareness. The results show that the planned and integrated implementation of character education management has a significant impact on increasing students’ interest, developing positive attitudes, and shaping constructive behavior. Students demonstrated stronger learning motivation, better discipline in following school routines, and behaviors consistent with Islamic values such as greeting politely, respecting teachers, cooperating with peers, and showing empathy. Moreover, parental involvement through regular communication and partnership programs further strengthened the internalization of character values at home. This study concludes that comprehensive and collaborative character education management is essential for forming morally grounded and positively behaved students.
