Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school principal academic supervision in improving teacher performance at SDIT Ikhtiar, Tallo Sub-district, Lembo Village, Makassar City, for the academic year 2025-2026. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method that involves in-depth interviews, observations, and analysis of secondary documents. The results indicate that effective academic supervision can improve teacher motivation and performance, where moral support and knowledge from the principal have a positive impact on the classroom learning process. Additionally, this study also found that teacher participation in the supervision process creates a collaborative environment that supports professional development.
