Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of school principal policies in improving teacher performance and the quality of teaching and learning activities at SMAS IT Wahdah Islamiyah, Makassar. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results show that school principals play a crucial role in enhancing teacher professionalism through training, supervision, and the application of technology in learning. Furthermore, the improvement of teacher motivation and the implementation of self-development programs have a positive impact on teacher performance. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation indicate an increase in student learning outcomes. This study is expected to provide insights for policymakers in the development of education in Indonesia.
