This study aims to analyze the leadership model of school principals in improving the pedagogical competence of Islamic Education teachers at SD Negeri 2 Sidomulyo, South Lampung. The method used is a qualitative approach with case study. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the principal applies a transformational leadership model focused on professional development for teachers through training and coaching. Additionally, collaboration between teachers and the principal is highly emphasized to create a conducive learning environment. This study also finds that motivational factors and support from the principal significantly influence the improvement of teachers' pedagogical competence. The recommendations from this study highlight the need for ongoing training programs for teachers to strengthen their competencies in teaching Islamic Education.
