This study aims to analyze the implementation of school-based management in efforts to improve the quality of Aqidah Akhlak learning at MI Al-Wahdah Ngaglik, Sleman, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The method used is a survey with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving the head of the madrasa, teachers, and students. The results showed that school-based management significantly contributed to the improvement of learning quality, especially in the aspects of planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. Additionally, there was an increase in student motivation reflected in the increasingly better values of Aqidah Akhlak. This research is expected to serve as a reference for other madrasas in implementing school-based management and improving education quality in Indonesia.
