Abstract

 

 

The purpose of this study, first, is to describe the planning of Islamic education in increasing student discipline. Second, describe the organization of Islamic education. Third, describe the implementation of Islamic education in increasing student discipline. Fourth, describe the supervision of Islamic education management in increasing student discipline. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, and the data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation methods, all of which are to answer the problem of Islamic education management in increasing student discipline at Madrasah Diniyah Taqwa Bandar Lampung City, while the informants of this research are the Managers, Heads of Madrasas, teachers and students. In this study, the researchers found several findings in the management of Islamic education in increasing student discipline, which include: 1. Educational management planning in improving student discipline, including a. formulate the goals of student discipline education in accordance with the vision, mission and goals of the Madrasah; b. make disciplinary rules for students; c. make guidelines for violations and penalties that will be given to disciplinary violators; and D. establish a schedule of student disciplinary activities. 2. Organizing Islamic education management in improving student discipline, including: a. Formulate management; b. Establish management in accordance with expertise and create a management organizational structure. 3. Implementation of disciplinary education for students, including a. providing direction regarding disciplinary education for students; b. provide motivation to students related to student discipline education; c. lead over the course of student discipline education; d. communicate to students in providing an understanding of student discipline education; and e. Take decisions on actions that violate student discipline. 4. Supervision of Islamic education management in improving student discipline, includes 2 ways, namely: a. direct supervision consists of direct observation and attendance and b. Indirect supervision consists of monthly evaluations.
