Abstract

Teaching and Learning Activities in Indonesia are still very low compared to other countries, therefore improving the quality of education in Indonesia really requires efforts from various parties. Basically, this research is descriptive qualitative, providing a picture or description of a situation as clearly as possible regarding certain individuals or groups according to actual conditions. Descriptive methods are used to analyze qualitative data with data that cannot be realized using numbers. Thus the results of the research show that the Principal of SMP Shafa Marwah Islamic School. always strive to improve the quality of teaching and learning in various ways, including always holding or attending training on the ability to manage teaching and learning, always trying to train teachers according to their respective competencies, always providing guidance or motivation to students, always trying to provide infrastructure and learning media to support teaching and learning, always supervise the running of KBM.
