Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in enhancing learning activities at MTs Swasta Annur Langsa. Facilities and infrastructure are essential factors that determine the success of the teaching and learning process. Effective management includes planning, procurement, maintenance, and evaluation of the use of facilities to optimally support the achievement of educational goals. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants include the head of the school, the vice principal in charge of facilities and infrastructure, teachers, and students. The findings reveal that the management of facilities and infrastructure at MTs Swasta Annur Langsa is carried out in a structured manner involving various school stakeholders. Needs planning is based on actual conditions and school priorities, procurement is adjusted to the budget and urgent needs, while maintenance is routinely conducted by assigned staff as well as the involvement of teachers and students. In addition, periodic evaluations are implemented to ensure the effectiveness of facility usage. The implications of effective management are reflected in the increased motivation and participation of students in learning activities, greater comfort in the classroom environment, and improved teaching effectiveness. Therefore, it can be concluded that well-planned and organized management of educational facilities and infrastructure significantly contributes to the improvement of learning quality at MTs Swasta Annur Langsa.
