Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in nurturing the morals of students at UPT SDN 25 TBT  Kabupaten Tulang Bawang Barat academic year. In the era of rapid globalization, the challenges in moral development of students have become increasingly complex. Therefore, Islamic Religious Education teachers are expected to play a central role in shaping the character and morality of students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, aiming to explore the efforts, strategies, and challenges faced by teachers in developing students' morals. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving teachers, students, and other relevant stakeholders. The results of the study indicate that the role of teachers is significant in the moral development process, with an approach that includes religious education, personal role modeling, and the application of religious values in daily life. The challenges encountered include time limitations and external factors that influence students' behavior. This study is expected to contribute to the improvement of moral development quality in schools and serve as a consideration for schools in developing a more effective Islamic religious education curriculum
