Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of moral education management in developing students’ interests, attitudes, and positive behaviors at SDN 19 Tulang Bawang District, South Lampung Regency. Moral education plays a strategic role in shaping students’ personalities to become Islamic in character, responsible, and morally upright individuals. The focus of this study is on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of moral education management carried out by the school and its impact on the development of students’ learning interests, politeness, and positive behaviors within the school environment. This research employs a  descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The participants include the head of the madrasah, Islamic Education teachers, homeroom teachers, and selected students chosen purposively. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results indicate that the implementation of moral education management at SDN 19 Tulang Bawang Tengahis conducted systematically through the integration of akhlaqul karimah values into teaching and learning activities, teacher modeling, and habituation of religious programs such as congregational prayers, Qur’an recitations, and Friday cleaning activities. The impact is evident in the increased learning motivation, politeness toward teachers and peers, as well as the emergence of disciplined, responsible, and socially caring behaviors among students. Therefore, moral education management has proven effective in fostering positive character and strengthening students’ moral integrity within the madrasah environment.
