Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the implementation of the management of vice principals in the field of student affairs in improving the learning process services carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Lemembu Jaya Oki, South Sumatra. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data used in this study is data poleculation. The results of this study found: 1) The management planning process for the Deputy Principal for Student Affairs carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Lemembu Jaya OKI, South Sumatra, which was designed by the Vice Principal for student affairs and assisted by teachers and other staff through direct instructions from the Principal. according to established procedures. Planning on student management is prepared on the basis of school abilities and meets the needs of students and the demands of the times. 2) The process of organizing the Management of the Deputy Principal for Student Affairs at SMP Negeri 1 Lemembu Jaya OKI South Sumatra is carried out by providing guidance and special services as well as responsibility for students, by monitoring and training activities on empowerment and potentials owned by students so that the goals of students are achieved and love the school environment. 3) The process of implementing the Management of the Deputy Principal for Student Affairs in fostering extracurricular and intracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 1 Lemembu Jaya OKI, South Sumatra, is carried out by conducting special coaching for students who have special interests and talents, and are directly guided by skill experts. professional in every interest and talent of students. 4) Evaluation and supervision of the results of student activities carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Lemembu Jaya OKI South Sumatra is carried out directly by the Principal and Deputy Principal for Student Affairs and assisted by other staff teachers, with the aim of ensuring the implementation of the student planning program that has been carried out, and monitor deviations that occur.
