In carrying out their duties, the school head has carried out his managerial leadership, which includes; planning, organizing, monitoring and evaluating, but student motivation is still low. Teacher performance in planning learning has been done strategically and mature, but has not been able to arouse student learning motivation. The madrasa head's managerial skills in solving problems are good, as well as the teacher's performance in terms of the ability to evaluate and implement good programs and enrichment has actually been implemented, but student learning motivation is still low. "How is the implementation of the managerial leadership of shcool principals and teacher performance in improving student motivation in SD Islam Kurikulum Terpadu ?" This research is done by the writer using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done by observation, interview and documentation. In carrying out learning activities, the teacher has shown a good performance, which is to seriously understand the material that has been prepared, has the ability to master the class, provide motivation and interest in learning, use appropriate methods, design learning strategies and, the learning motivation of students of SD Islam Kurikulum Terpadu is relatively low. The low student motivation is caused by the lack of learning needs and be able to provide and use learning media and utilization of learning resources. However the lack of knowledge of students' self-improvement (intrinsic motivation).
