Abstract

Student learning outcomes at Mts Al Hikmah Markati Mulya, Mesuji District, Oki Regency, Central South Sumatra in the subjects of Jurisprudence for the 2015/2016 Academic Year are still relatively low. The low student learning outcomes are certainly influenced by various factors, especially students find it difficult to understand and apply learning with daily worship because in the learning process the teacher is more dominant in using a textual/lecture approach based on handbooks/packaged books only. The research methods used in data collection include: observation, interviews and documentation. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data processing steps include: data reduction, data display and data verification and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the process of implementing learning at Mts Al Hikmah Markati Mulya, Mesuji District, Oki Regency, South Sumatra has not been carried out well, as evidenced by the teacher's not maximally using the seven main components of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning. The learning approach is not yet holistic, tends not to touch the affective domain, even though in Fiqh learning these aspects are believed to be very important, according to the context in the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning approach, the three domains can be touched by the teacher in each learning process to provide an assessment.
