Abstract

Motivation is the main driver of a person in doing a job. While the work ethic can be formed and improved through education, experience and skills. Work ethic is something that is abstract, because it is included in the field of psychology related to attitudes that are hidden in the mind. A high work ethic will be a support in achieving goals. Principals who have a high work ethic will be an example and model for teachers and their subordinates. This research is focused on the work ethic of the Principal of MTs Darul Jannah Lemrub Jaya. While the sub focus is discipline, responsibility, pride in the profession or work and the hard work of the principal of MTs Darul Jannah Lemembu Jaya. Based on the findings of the analysis and discussion, the results of this study can be concluded that the work ethic of the Head of MTs Darul Jannah Lemembu Jaya continues to move towards significant improvements. It is clear from the breakthroughs towards something that is towards improvement, very innovative, the hard work shown by the principal both in working and influencing his subordinates so that improvements in various aspects at MTs Darul Jannah Lemembu Jaya continue to grow rapidly, including the principal's discipline can become a benchmark for the increase in the work ethic of the Head of MTs Darul Jannah Lemembu Jaya. The increase in the work ethic of the principal of MTs Darul Jannah Lemembu Jaya continues to increase in accordance with the indicators listed in the concept of a good work ethic, so that at MTs Darul Jannah Lemrub Jaya the principal's innovations become a breakthrough that will determine school improvement towards global competition. Because madrasas should be a benchmark for character education, of course with a good work ethic from all school stakeholders, especially the work ethic of the principal.
