The purpose of this research is to find out how the Principal's Leadership Model in Improving Pedagogic Competence of Teachers of Islamic Culture History Subject Case Studies at Telaga Sunnah Tulang Bawang Junior High School. Researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used in this research is data triangulation. The results of the study found that the principal as a supervisor who always helps, fosters and guides teachers in overcoming difficulties in teaching, provides guidance to new teachers, helps teachers acquire skills and enriches the learning experience as well as fosters and provides effective and democratic leadership, which is followed up by the principal by doing things such as the following: Holding a Workshop (Worshop), Motivating teachers to make scientific works, Giving awards (Reward). The principal has carried out his role as a supervisor in improving the pedagogic competence of PAI teachers as well as in contributing to the progress of the school, especially at Telaga Sunnah Junior High School, but in providing effective and democratic leadership it is still lacking and needs to be improved. The pedagogic competence of PAI teachers still needs to be improved, especially with regard to the development of syllabus and lesson plans, results-oriented assessments, learning models and methods and the use of educational technology.
