Disciplinary character education is one of the important aspects in the formation of quality human resources (HR). as a basic education institution in South Kalimantan, realizes the importance of implementing disciplinary character education to support the formation of quality human resources. Disciplinary character education not only focuses on compliance with the rules, but also instills the values of responsibility, perseverance, and independence in students. This study aims to analyze the implementation of disciplined character education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Syarif Abbas South Kalimantan and how it affects the improvement of HR quality. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of disciplined character education consistently in this madrasah is able to shape the attitudes and behavior of students who are more responsible, obedient to the rules, and have high learning motivation. Thus, disciplined character education is an important factor in improving the quality of human resources in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Syarif Abbas environment. The recommendation of this study is the need to strengthen the discipline program on an ongoing basis and involve all elements of the school to achieve optimal character education goals.
