Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement an application of life skills education based on Islamic Religious Education at UPTD SD Negeri 122348, Jalan Tambun Barat, Kelurahan Tanjung Tongah, Kecamatan Siantar Martoba, Pematangsiantar City, North Sumatra Province in the 2024/2025 academic year. Life skills are an important aspect in the formation of character and students' abilities to face the challenges of everyday life independently and responsibly. Islamic Religious Education as a moral and spiritual foundation is considered to have great potential in instilling sustainable life values. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of a life skills education application integrated with Islamic values ​​can improve students' attitudes of discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and problem-solving abilities. Thus, this application makes a positive contribution in shaping students' character and life skills from an early age.
