Abstract

The function of school principals plays a vital role in improving teacher performance. This study aims to explore the various managerial functions implemented by the principal at SDN 2 Kalinda and their impact on enhancing teacher performance. In the context of education, effective management contributes to better learning outcomes and creates a positive work environment. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires filled out by teachers and school staff. The findings reveal that a collaborative approach and effective communication are key in enhancing teachers' motivation and teaching outcomes. Additionally, the importance of ongoing professional training was identified as a crucial factor in the development of teacher performance. By implementing effective management functions, school principals contribute not only to the improvement of individual teachers’ competencies but also to the achievement of educational goals as a whole.
