UPAYA GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK MATA PELAJARAN PAI PADA MATERI FIQH KELAS IX DI SMP BOARDING BINA MULYA BANDUNG BARAT TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/2025
Abstract
This study aims to examine the efforts of teachers in improving students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), particularly in Fiqh material for ninth-grade students at SMP Boarding Bina Mulya Bandung Barat in the academic year 2024/2025. Learning motivation is a crucial factor influencing student success. The research method used was qualitative descriptive, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that teachers implement various efforts to boost learning motivation, including designing engaging and interactive lessons, providing emotional support, and applying rewards and appreciation. Additionally, the integration of Islamic values in learning and utilizing the boarding school environment also supports the enhancement of student motivation. Despite facing challenges such as differences in interest and limited instructional time, teachers continue to innovate with diverse and reflective approaches. Collaboration among teachers, parents, and the school administration is also a key supporting factor. Therefore, the comprehensive efforts of teachers effectively increase students’ motivation to learn Fiqh, which is expected to positively impact academic achievement and character development.
