Abstract

The storytelling method through media is a way of providing learning experiences to early childhood by presenting stories orally using props to attract attention and touch children's feelings. The storytelling method can develop aspects of development in children, especially language aspects. Language is a means of communication between individuals to express their thoughts, feelings and desires. This is intended so that children can easily communicate and convey their ideas and opinions to others. The application of the storytelling method that is varied with media will motivate children more and concretize abstract concepts so that children better understand the description of the story's contents. The problem faced at the Bunda Hj.Darinah Pringsewu Lampung Playgroup is that children's language development is still low. The formulation of the problem in this study is "can the application of the storytelling method through media develop children's language at the Bunda Hj.Darinah Pringsewu Lampung Playgroup. carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle 2 meetings. The data collection methods in this study are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis used in this study includes data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.
