KEPEMIMPINAN KETUA YAYASAN BERDASARKAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL (EQ) DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN DARUL HIKMAH KABUPATEN PURWAKARTA

Abstract

This study is a qualitative study that describes the leadership of the Head of the Darul Hikmah Educational Institution in Purwakarta Regency and analyzes the perspective of emotional intelligence. This study was conducted using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Testing the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The source will contain data on the leadership of the Head of the Darul Hikmah Foundation in Purwakarta Regency based on emotional intelligence. The results of the study show that the head of the Al-Hidayat Jamantra foundation has good leadership in terms of emotional intelligence. The results of the analysis show that the head of the foundation carries out primal leadership very well. This is evidenced by data and source triangulation. The Head of the Darul Hikmah Educational Institution in Purwakarta Regency has a high commitment to the vision of the future, especially during times of stress or in the midst of increasing responsibilities. The head of the foundation takes an emotional approach to all residents in the foundation. The Head of the Foundation is able to read his own emotions and recognize their impact using instincts to guide decisions, knows his strengths and limitations, is able to control emotions and demonstrate honesty and integrity, and is trustworthy. The Head of the Foundation has good self-awareness and self-management, good social awareness and good relationship management.
