This study aims to examine the contribution of implementing Tahfidzul Qur’an learning using the Takrir method in improving students’ memorization at Pondok Pesantren Ibnu Abbas Putri. The main focus of this research is to analyze how the Takrir method is applied in the learning process and to what extent it is effective in shaping the quality of the students’ Qur’an memorization. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews with tahfidz teachers and students, as well as documentation of the learning process. The validity of the data is strengthened through source and method triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the Takrir method, when implemented consistently—through structured repetition and daily discipline—has a positive impact on students’ memory retention and fluency in recitation. Furthermore, this method fosters discipline, responsibility, and intrinsic motivation among the students to maintain and preserve their memorization. The contribution of the Takrir method is highly significant in achieving the memorization targets set by the pesantren, particularly in terms of timeliness, the quality of mutqin memorization, and the continuity of regular murojaah.
