EFEKTIVITAS SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN DALAM MENDUKUNG TRANSPARANSI DAN AKUNTABILITAS MADRASAH

Abstract

This study is a literature review that aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing Management Information Systems (MIS) in enhancing transparency and accountability in madrasah administration. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach, based on various sources such as scientific journals, books, and official documents related to educational management and information technology. The findings indicate that the implementation of MIS in madrasahs significantly contributes to more open, accurate, and accessible data management for various stakeholders, thereby supporting the principle of transparency. In addition, systematic data recording through MIS strengthens institutional accountability in financial reporting, academic performance, and data-based decision-making. However, the effectiveness of MIS largely depends on the readiness of human resources, technological infrastructure, and policy support from stakeholders. Therefore, strengthening HR capacity and supervision systems is essential to optimize the role of MIS in the madrasah environment.
