KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU DI MTs AL- AKBAR 1 SIDOMULYO AIR KUMBANG BANYUASIN
Abstract
This research is specifically to find out how the leadership of the madrasah principal in an effort to improve teacher performance at MTs Al Akbar 1 Sidomulyo Air Kumbang Banyuasin, the factors that can influence and factors that can improve teacher performance, are expected. By knowing all these factors, some suggestions can be given that can be taken into consideration for madrasa principals, especially in improving the performance of teachers in their madrasas. This research uses a qualitative or naturalistic approach. Data collection using participant observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, for data analysis using three flow of activities, namely data reduction, display/presentation of data and verification/drawing of conclusions. From the results of the study stated that; The leadership of the madrasah principal is considered good, and can have a positive impact on improving teacher performance at MTs Al Akbar 1 Sidomulyo Air Kumbang Banyuasin. Teacher performance at MTs Al Akbar 1 Sidomulyo Air Kumbang Banyuasin. has not run optimally, but thanks to the direction and guidance of the head of the madrasa, the performance of the teacher can run well, this is due to the ability of the teacher and the direction of the head of the madrasa in preparing learning tools, especially the Learning Implementation Plan, adequate madrasa facilities and infrastructure, and also the ability of teachers to create educational interactions between students and teachers, and teachers can create a conducive classroom. While at the level of evaluation/assessment of learning outcomes, the average teacher has implemented it well with instructions from the head of the madrasa.
