Fungsi Manajerial Ketua Sekolah Tinggi Dalam menciptakan Sekolah Efektif ( Studi Kasus di STAI Darul Qur'an Payakumbuh)
Abstract
The managerial ability of the principal is an important and strategic factor in the framework of improving the quality and progress of the school he leads. With the managerial ability, it is hoped that the principal can make the school he leads an effective school. In an effective school the principal has a strong role in planning, organizing, directing and controlling. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data sources of this research are the principal (as key informant), vice principal, teachers, parents (school committee) and administration (as informant). The results of the research are: 1) the managerial ability of the principal in planning to create an effective school in accordance with the criteria of an effective school, 2) the managerial ability of the principal in organizing an effective school according to procedures, 3) the principal's majaerial ability in directing creating an effective school has also been going well. ., 4) Managerial ability Control or supervision carried out by the principal in creating an effective school by monitoring and evaluating. From the overall managerial level of the principal, it can be stated that the principal of STAI Darul Qur’an Payakumbuh has been able to create an effective school because he has implemented effective school indicators that refer to school inputs, processes, outputs and outcomes.
