Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the leadership of Madrasah principals based on emotional intelligence at the Aliyah Islahiyah Panipahan Darat Madrasah educational institution. This research is a qualitative research. In qualitative research, the data collected is not numbers, but in the form of words or images. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out using triangulation, namely, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results of this research show that the ability of the Chairman of the Madrasah Aliyah Islahiyah Panipahan Darat Educational Institution Foundation, Pasir Limau Kapas District, has a high commitment to his own vision for the future, especially during these difficult times. full of pressure or in the midst of increasing responsibilities. The leadership resonance of the Chair of the Madrasah Aliyah Islahiyah Panipahan Darat Educational Institution Foundation, Pasir Limau Kapas District as a form of leadership based on emotional intelligence is classified as good. This is reflected in the attitude of the Foundation chairman towards the foundation's residents. The Chairman of the Foundation is always open to various possibilities.
