Abstract

One of the very important issues to be studied in the world of Islamic education is the study of the Koran. The Koran, which is the holy book of Muslims, has begun to be taught in Islamic schools in Indonesia, especially in memorizing. A nation is advanced if it has quality faith in matters of the Qur'an, as has been proven by the first generation of Muslims. To be able to create this, it is necessary to improve the strategies of Al-Quran teachers in managing Tahfidzul Qur'an lesson materials. Based on the background of this problem, the researcher wants to conduct more in-depth research to find out "Tahfidz Teacher's Strategy in Improving Memorizing the Qur'an for Class VI Students of SDI Baitussalam - Cibinong - Bogor in the 2022/2023 Academic Year". The formulation of the problem in this research is: 1) What strategies will Tahfidz teachers implement in improving students' memorization at SDI Baitussalaam - Cibinong, 2) Are there any obstacles faced by Tahfidz teachers in implementing the strategies that have been designed?, 3) What are the factors driving force that can make the strategies successful in increasing the memorization of the Qur'an at SDI Baitusalaam? So the main objectives of this research are 1) to find out what strategies are given to improve memorization of the Al Qur'an for grade 6 students in the 2022/2023 academic year, 2) to find out the inhibiting factors in improving memorization of the Al Qur'an an, 3) to analyze factors inside and outside the school in relation to increasing memorization of the Qur'an. The method used in this research is survey method. A survey is a research method using interviews as an instrument for collecting research data. The results of this research found that: 1) there are various strategies for improving students' memorization. 2) Disadvantages and advantages of strategies applied by tahfidz teachers
