Meningkatkan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Melalui Peran Kepala Madrasah Sebagai Supervisor Di MA Al Ukhuwah Sukoharjo Kabupaten Solo
Abstract
The head of the madrasa as the leader has responsibility for something that is in the madrasa, including the teacher as an educator, of course the head of the madrasa must be able to overcome problems related to teachers in this case increasing the pedagogic competence of teachers. While the purpose of this study was to determine the role of the madrasah principal in improving the pedagogical competence of teachers at MA Al Ukhuwah Sukoharjo, Solo Regency. This research is a qualitative research, the primary data sources are the principals and teachers of MA Al Ukhuwah Sukoharjo Solo Regency, while the secondary data sources are documents, reports, and relevant research results. The results showed that the role of the madrasa principal in improving the pedagogic competence of teachers had been carried out quite well. Referring to the role of the principal in improving pedagogic competence, namely the role of the principal as an educator, manager, supervisor, in terms of improving the pedagogic competence of teachers by managing learning, planning the implementation of learning, and evaluating learning outcomes. To improve pedagogic competence, madrasah principals assist teachers by sending teachers to participate in various trainings, providing job assessments and awarding outstanding teachers.
