Abstract

The teacher is a figure who has an important role in the learning process to improve student development according to their abilities. Teachers are facilitators and motivators in learning to educate students, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers are required to be able to demonstrate teacher competence in guiding students. The forms of motivation that can be given by teachers in the learning process include giving advice, giving assignments and also the existence of cooperation between teachers and students in the learning process. It can be concluded that the teacher's role in motivating student learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is as a motivator, informer, organizer (organizer), influence/director, initiator, facilitator, mediator, evaluator (appraiser).
