UPAYA KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU KEGIATAN BELAJAR MENGAJAR DI MTs PELITA PESAWARAN

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of the madrasa head in improving the quality of teaching and learning activities at MTs Pelita Pesawaran. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Respondents in this study were madrasa heads, teachers, and students at MTs Pelita Pesawaran.

The results showed that the head of the madrasa made several efforts to improve the quality of teaching and learning activities at MTs Pelita Pesawaran, including: (1) conducting regular supervision of teachers, (2) providing training and guidance to teachers in developing pedagogic competence, (3) improve school facilities and infrastructure, (4) involve students in teaching and learning activities through various extracurricular activities, (5) form a curriculum development team to compile and develop a curriculum that is relevant to students' needs.

Thus, it can be concluded that the efforts of the madrasa head in improving the quality of teaching and learning activities at MTs Pelita Pesawaran include supervision, training and guidance, improvement of facilities and infrastructure, student involvement, and curriculum development. All of these efforts aim to improve the quality of education provided at MTs Pelita Pesawaran so as to create students who are competent and with character.
