UPAYA PENINGKATAN KUALITAS SUMBER DAYA MANUSIA DI SMP BERBASIS PESANTREN ( BP) DARUSSALAM PASIR SAKTI KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMUR
Abstract
The principal is one of the components of education that has the most role in improving the quality of human resources in a school, because the existence of human resources is an integral part of school life. As a leader, the efforts made by the school principal in managing human resources so that they can perform well, namely by coaching the human resources in the school, so that school goals are achieved effectively and efficiently.
The problem in this research is how are the efforts of the principals of Darussalam Islamic Boarding School-Based Junior High Schools in improving human resources in their schools. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of school principals in improving the quality of human resources, and the problems they face and the solutions to overcome these problems. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were school principals, teachers and employees. Meanwhile, data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation, which were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods.
The results of this study are the efforts made by the principals of Darussalam Islamic Boarding School-Based Junior High Schools in improving the quality of human resources in schools, especially teachers and employees through Subject Teacher Deliberations (MGMP) activities, holding discussions and workshops, providing training for teachers and employees to be able to take advantage of information technology in the learning process, holding routine lectures, and fostering discipline. The problems that arise are the unified vision and mission between teachers, the lack of direction and supervision, and financial problems. Then in overcoming this problem the school holds meetings, takes a personal approach, provides regular supervision, and seeks funds to improve the welfare of teachers and employees
