MODEL KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN MUTU SUMBER DAYA GURU
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explain the principal's leadership model in developing the quality of teacher resources in Ma’had Imam Syafi’i Cabangbungin Islamic Junior High School Bekasi Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Data obtained from interviews, observation and documentation.The results of this study found that the principal's leadership model was appropriate for developing the quality of teacher resources at Ma’had Imam Syafi’i Cabangbungin Islamic Junior High School Bekasi Regency, using a democratic model. The principal's strategy in developing the quality of teacher resources is by: (1) building positive character through: a. further studies degree, b. participate in scientific activities, c. subject teacher deliberation (MGMP), d. cooperate with other parties, e. conduct a comparative study, f. library provision. (2) making the vision and mission of Ma’had Imam Syafi’i Cabangbungin Islamic Junior High School the basis for developing the quality of teacher resources. (3) Provision of teacher welfare allowances, both material and non-material. The implications of the principal's leadership in developing teacher resources in Ma’had Imam Syafi’i Cabangbungin Islamic Junior High School include: a. listen to ideas and suggestions from the teacher, b. provide concessions for teachers who wish to pursue higher education c. create a comfortable and friendly work atmosphere.
