KEPEMIMPINAN KETUA YAYASAN BERDASARKAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL (EQ) DI LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN AL-HIDAYAT JAMANTRAS KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ILIR PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN

Abstract

This research is a qualitative research that describes the leadership of the Chairman of the Al-Hidayat Jamantra Educational Institute and analyzes the point of view of emotional intelligence. This research was conducted using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. Testing the validity of the data using the triangulation technique, which in this study is more emphasized on the source triangulation technique. The sources are all members of the foundation, including administrators, the environment, the surrounding community, including MI, MTs and MA Al-Hidayat Jamantra teachers. This source will include leadership data for the chairman of the Al-Hidayat Jamantra Foundation based on emotional intelligence.                         The results of the study show that the head of the Al-Hidayat Jamantra foundation has good leadership in terms of emotional intelligence. The results of the analysis show that the chairman of the foundation carries out primal leadership very well. This is evidenced by triangulation of data and sources. The Chairperson of the Al-Hidayat Jamantra Education Institute, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province has a high commitment to a vision for the future, especially in times of stress or in the midst of increasing responsibilities. The head of the foundation takes an emotional approach to all residents in the foundation. The chairman of the foundation is able to read his own emotions and recognize their impact, uses instincts to guide decisions, knows his strengths and limitations, is able to control emotions and demonstrates honesty and integrity, can be trusted. The chairman of the foundation has good self-awareness and self-management, good social awareness and good relationship management.
