KEMAMPUAN MANAJERIAL KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN DI MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH

Abstract

The purpose of his research was to determine the Managerial Capabilities of Madrasah Principals in Improving the Quality of Learning at MA APIW. The research method used is qualitative, with data sources: madrasa principals, Islamic religious education teachers and students. Data collection techniques: participant observation, interviews and documentation. After the data is collected, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification are carried out. The results of this study are: Managerial Capabilities of Madrasah Principals in Improving the Quality of Learning at MA APIW, namely the management of educational staff resources has been implemented both at the planning, coaching and development, assessment and compensation stages. Implementation of education personnel resource management such as: planning teachers to teach according to their educational background, at least S.1, skilled in using learning methods and media, developing teacher competence by involving teachers in upgrading and seminars, motivation to continue education, giving awards to outstanding teachers and sanctions for teachers who lack discipline and poor performance, involve teachers in every development of the madrasa, accept and develop ideas and potential that teachers have, carry out direct supervision activities on the activities of the teachers, the results of teacher performance assessments are immediately followed up, give awards and attention to honorary teachers. The conclusion of the study: the implementation of educational staff resource management can improve the quality of Islamic religious education services for students in the Managerial Capabilities of Madrasah Heads in Improving the Quality of Learning in MA APIW.
