The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of madrasah/school principals in institutional development at Madrasah Al-Akbar and SDN 27 OKU, to analyze the factors supporting the managerial implementation of madrasah/school principals in institutional development at Madrasah Al-Akbar and SDN 27 OKU. To analyze the inhibiting factors for the managerial implementation of madrasah/school principals in institutional development at Madrasah Al-Akbar and SDN 27 OKU. The type of research used descriptive method is qualitative. Data sources consist of primary data sources and secondary data sources. Primary data sources were obtained from (1) Head of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Akbar, (2) Head of SDN 27 OKU, (3) Deputy Head of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Akbar, (4) Deputy Head of SDN 27 OKU, (5) Teachers/educators of Madrasah Aliyah Al -Akbar, (6) Puspita High School Teacher/Educator, (7) Aliyah Madrasah Committee, (8) Puspita High School Committee. Data collection techniques in research are observation, interviews and documentation. Guarantee data validity by using triangulation which is a data validity checking technique that utilizes checking or as a comparison of the data. The results of the research show that the managerial implementation of madrasah/school principals in institutional development at Madrasah Al-Akbar, is quite good and needs to be improved on student management, curriculum management, infrastructure management and personnel management. The managerial implementation of madrasah/school principals in institutional development at Puspita High School is good for all five educational managements.
