MANAJEMEN SARANA DAN PRASARANA PENDIDIKAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEGIATAN BELAJAR MENGAJAR

Abstract

This study aims to describe the survey results regarding: (1) planning of facilities and infrastructure; (2) procurement of facilities and infrastructure; (3) storage of facilities and infrastructure; (4) maintenance of facilities and infrastructure. Research on the management of educational facilities and infrastructure at SMA IT Khanzanah Kebajikan Palembang is a descriptive study with survey methods and qualitative approaches. The subjects of the study were school principals, vice principals in the field of quality management and teachers. Data collection techniques are interviews, observations and document studies. Data analysis uses the Miles and Humberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show: (1) Planning for educational facilities and infrastructure is divided into planning for program infrastructure and planning for household infrastructure. Planning for program infrastructure is made by the school in accordance with the vision and mission of the school and the foundation through a series of stages, namely school coordination meetings, determining school programs, and determining program infrastructure needs. (2) The procurement of educational infrastructure is divided into the procurement of program infrastructure facilities, and the procurement of household infrastructure facilities; (3) Storage of educational facilities and infrastructure is carried out in a special storage area. Where the storage area for each item is done separately. Conducted by the general division under the supervision of the waka of quality management; (4) Maintenance of educational infrastructure is carried out by maintaining school infrastructure and maintaining school facilities. Maintenance of school infrastructure is the responsibility of the general division of the foundation which is supervised by the waka of quality management with an effort to check the condition of the facilities and infrastructure regularly once a year to prevent damage.
