PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN CARA BELAJAR TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR PAI SISWA SMP NEGERI 43 SATAP OKU

Abstract

Education is the main means in forming and creating quality human resources. One indicator of the achievement of learning objectives can be seen by looking at the achievements of students. The purpose of this study was to determine whether emotional intelligence and learning methods have a positive effect on learning achievement either simultaneously or partially. The subjects of this study were students of SMPN 43 Satap OKU for the Academic Year of 2022/2023. The data collection instruments in this study were emotional intelligence questionnaires and learning methods for students as well as documentation for SMPN 43 Satap OKU to obtain student achievement data. Regression analysis used is multiple regression analysis because this study uses two or more independent variables. The result of the research is that there is a positive influence of emotional intelligence and learning methods on learning achievement in PAI subjects at SMPN 43 Satap OKU students both simultaneously and partially. Simultaneous results can be seen from the SPSS calculation which shows if F count (51.024) > F table (3.097698). Partially seen from the calculation of the SPSS program which shows if t count (9.210) > t table (1.986674) for emotional intelligence and t count (2.199) > t table (1.986674) for learning methods. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in learning outcomes if students' emotional intelligence and learning methods are high. Suggestions related to the results of this study for further researchers to be able to examine other factors that can affect learning achievement that have not been disclosed in this study.
