Abstract

Abstract: Learning Islamic Religious Education has a responsibility in realizing the ideals of educating life and forming a virtuous national personality and preparing quality human resources so that they are able to compete in the global world competition. The aim of this research is to find out the quality management in learning Islamic religious education. Research using descriptive method. Data collection tools using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of quality management in learning Islamic Education at SD Islam Al Alifa Jakabaring Palembang, namely: (1) planning is summarized in the preparation of effective week plans, mapping of competency standards and basic competencies (SK/KD), minimum completeness criteria ( KKM), annual program, semester program, syllabus, and lesson plan, (2) implementation, applying interesting media, carrying out extra-curricular activities, while the implementation by the school principal is: encouraging PAI teachers to be active in trainings carried out by the Ministry of Religion and education office, fully supports activities in schools, (3) organizing, the teacher provides media and learning tools establishes the authority to coordinate learning in class, attends trainings, (4) supervision, the teacher supervises learning activities in class, evaluates the results of the implementation of learning , supervision in the evaluation process in the form of a test or p task assignment. (5) evaluation, compiling questions/assessment tools with predetermined indicators, carrying out assessments, checking answers or scoring test results of learning outcomes based on predetermined indicators/performance criteria, assessing learning outcomes based on predetermined criteria, managing learning outcomes, analyzing learning outcomes, conclude assessment results clearly and logically, compile reports on learning outcomes, and improve assessment questions/tools. Factors supporting the implementation of the quality of PAI learning are (1) increased time allocation, (2) training assistance, (3) good relationships between teachers, (4) principal's support for teachers, (5) teacher supervision, (6) supervision by headmaster. While the inhibiting factors are: (1) the lack of learning facilities and media, (2) the lack of innovation in preparing lesson plans, (3) the lack of practice by students outside of school.
