The supervisory activities of the madrasah head at MA Hidayatul Mubtadiin are carried out in a planned and sustainable manner in order to improve teacher performance in learning. Even though the teacher's performance was "already good" before the supervision was held, it was not said to be optimal. The field findings in this research are: planning for the supervision of the head of the madrasa is carried out in a planned, systematic and sustainable manner At this stage the head of the madrasah carries out the stages of determining the name of the teacher who will be observed, determining the time of observation, compiling an observation grid , determining whether the class observation is known to the teacher or not, this is based on agreement between the head of the Madarasah and the teacher. provide motivation to students to continue to study diligently. At the stages follow-up results of supervision are discussed together between the teacher and the head of Madarasah which discusses the shortcomings of teachers in teaching with the hope that in the future the teacher can improve it. Teachers have good performance in the learning process this can be educated know from the process of preparing a learning plan that is structured according to the criteria set in the teacher's performance standards, at the implementation stage of learning the teacher is able to master the material well, then the teacher is able to vary the teaching method and use the media for learning and provide opportunities for students to evaluate the test with questions and answers. In addition, the teacher is able to conduct evaluation test by asking some questions at the last session of learning
