Academic supervision carried out by the head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah hidayatul mubtadiin South Lampung is an effort to improve the quality of learning through coaching, as well as guidance to teachers in planning learning, implementing the learning process, and evaluating student learning outcomes in order to achieve the goals that have been set. This research was conducted with the aim of; 1) Describe the academic supervision plan carried out by the head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah hidayatul mubtadiin, 2) Describe the strategy for implementing academic supervision of the head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah hidayatul mubtadiin south Lampung, and 3) describe the implications of academic supervision of the head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah hidayatul mubtadiin in improving the quality of learning at Madrasah Tsanawiyah hidayatul Mubtadiin South Lampung.Based on the results of the study, the following findings can be concluded: Conclusion: academic supervision is one way to improve teacher professionalism in planning, implementing the learning process and evaluating student learning outcomes in order to improve the quality of learning so that educational goals both locally and nationally can be achieved well.
